Help for Mental Health Disorders
There are all types of mental illness in this world but what is it that defines mental health disorders? Traditionally, a person with real mental problems was defined by their inability to coexist in a society of people. If a person was disruptive or harmful to others or simply could not mix or affiliate with others they had to be locked up or drugged to remove the problem from society. It is not the purpose of this site to examine all types of mental illness and their individual cures but it is remarkable that many can be helped with a similar approach. I am no expert on mental health disorders but I do know something having suffered three years with
clinical depression
and having a daughter with a Borderline Personality Disorder (a badly named illness, there is nothing 'borderline' about it). I think that most people who are classified as 'sane' (meaning that they are able to live in a society of people and get by one way or another) still have some mental problems. Life circumstances and even well meaning parents (who sometimes make mistakes) can cause a growing child to end up with certain negativities and mental difficulties that they carry into adulthood. Certain mental problems can even cause stresses and tensions in certain parts of our bodies that end up manifesting as physical problems that can badly affect our health. I believe that most people can benefit by having some sort of therapy to help clean up the emotional baggage from the past that clutters up their lives. I know it has helped me a lot. Some people find good help when they explore things like meditation and self hypnosis or learning brain wave training so as to focus more on the Alpha and Theta wave states of mind. But the best way that I have found to sort out your baggage from the past is through a
Journey Therapy
. I have been to 5 psychotherapists and one of them was very helpful with one aspect of my life. The other four, well let's just say I was a considerable help to their bank balances. A good Journey Therapist can do in a few hours what takes months or years of psychotherapy and can fix things that are beyond psychotherapy. Life circumstances can often create an overly serious attitude to life. If you have become over serious and the fun has gone out of your daily life it can have long term effects on your health and I suggest you take appropriate steps to
relearn the art of happiness.
It can help you greatly. Being too serious is such a serious problem! (so to speak).
